Working on my new blog’s template
I have immersed myself completely in the editing of my WordPress template. I tried to change the default template to look the way I want it to, but that did not work.
So, I decided to use this. It is just a blank WordPress template; I started the CSS and most of the XHTML from scratch. Much of the PHP was already in place.
It might take me close to a week or two to finish all of this, but hopefully I’ll be back into the normal swing of things soon.
Check out what it’s looking like.
What’s going on at work: update
I spoke with one of my bosses today. He offered me a chance to keep working for the University of Florida Web administration through the summer. I am pretty excited about that opportunity, and the possible chance to work full time after that.
I also told him about the little makeover this blog and the rest of my Web site has had. He told me to keep working on the WordPress templates and PHP. He showed me a couple of UF-related sites that are driven by a WordPress CMS.
Check them out:
I have a lot to do as far as tweaking the template, but I probably won’t be getting around to it until the end of the week.
